Milan Dujic
Founder & Editor | Letterboxd
Originally from Serbia, Milan has been a passionate cinephile for nearly 15 years. Though once hoped to formally study film and eventually become a filmmaker, that dream never happened. Instead he took a self-taught path by watching several thousand of films and reading about cinema whenever time allowed. Combined with an interest for history, it created an obsession with the evolution of film: styles, movements, and how they reflect cultural and political shifts. This led to the creation of CinemaWaves.
Film Critic | Letterboxd
Based in California, he developed a passion for film from a young age and has since viewed over 10,000 films. His appreciation for the medium led him to film criticism, where he now writes for CinemaWaves, offering analysis of both contemporary releases and timeless classics. In addition to his work at CinemaWaves, he has contributed to other publications as well. You can follow his work on Instagram and Letterboxd for more reviews and analysis.
Film Critic | Letterboxd
Initially caught the film bug while cruising for used copies of Bergman flicks/bootleg concert footage at Disc Replay. These days, he’ll review quite anything, though he is partial to Italian neorealism, American underground film, and whoever is using cinema as a method of interrogating power structures.
Writer | Letterboxd
Based in North Wales, Max has had an admiration for films ever since he got Pinnochio on DVD for his third birthday, since then he has grown to be a fan of anything and everything from David Lynch to Hayao Miyazaki. However his heart has a special place for anything shocking and underground.
